Delivered before promised by date. Carrier is easy to install, stores plenty, low noise (at 70+ mph), little change in mpg, and my wife approves of the appearance. Nuff Said!

For what it actually is, this is great. Could fit four suitcases, a couple laptops and for bags of pine cones (don't ask) plus other odds-and-ends for a cross-country trip. No problems with mounting or removing, and dual locks were great. Gas mileage (on a Highlander Hybrid) didn't; seem to suffer. Would have been 5 stars except the picture on Amazon made it look a lot longer than it is. We wanted it for this trip, but then long term to hulk skis. 4-6 pair, yes. Just Snowboards, not skis. Luckily, a neighbor was looking for exactly this to go back and forth to the beach (they don't ski), so upon arrival, we sold it for $20 less than we bought it for, saving us the hassle of boxing it up and finding a freight company to ship it back. Will definitely get another Thule--just one that will fit normals skis next time (and will disregard the pics on Amazon)

The 603 Ascent 1500 was simple and straight forward to install, but two are required to place it on the car roof or remove it. There was no noticable wind noise when driving at hiway speed. Gas mileage may have been reduced 1-2 mpg. Definitely a useful addition.
