I was glad to have found the 95" curtains on Amazon, as Target does not carry that size in stores. I have had the curtains for two months now and light definitely seeps through either side, even though these curtains are placed over vertical blinds! The curtains do a decent job at insulating the room.
You get what you pay for, and these are a good option if you are looking to block out a majority of the light and keep a room cool that is in direct sunlight. There are definitely higher quality/priced curtains that you can buy.

We ordered these to help with the draft coming in from the very large picture windows in our loft. I love the big windows because they let in the sunshine and breeze in the spring & summer, but in the winter (especially this colder than normal winter) they have just been drafty! These curtains have not only blocked out the city lights and helped us sleep better, they have kept the draft completely out. Definitely worth the money. We haven't had them long enough for me to report on energy savings, but the heater has been coming on a lot less already, so I anticipate some savings on the power bill for sure. Great investment!

Living in central California, I get some extreme weather shifts. Right now, it is about 30 degrees on average. In a few months, it'll be in the 90's. These curtains have already helped greatly with the chill, and I expect they will help just as well with the heat. I would just recommend that you do a double wash of them when you first get them, otherwise they will maintain their packing wrinkles.
